I would like to thank the PWCCGS for inviting me to judge this year's match. Thanks to Karen Hines, Match Chairperson and to Liliane Schuster, my ring steward, everything went smoothly. The "western" picnic was wonderful. It was a beautiful, but warm day. Judging these pups was challenging, to say the least. I was pleased with the overall quality. Movement, down & back, was good in most of the pups. I would like to have seen better side gait on some. Of course, some of the little babes found it stressful to do all that was required of them. Bites were all good. Nails were manicured. I was pleased to see a lot of dark eyes. It is not at all easy to judge puppies, as we all know how they go through stages. My placings were made according to my observations on the day. Thanks to all who exhibited and I hope that all your pups grow on to meet their early promise.

PUPPY 3-6 MONTHS, DOGS (6 exhibited)

1. DEERFIELD ENCHANTED KINGDOM Owners: Marilyn Cellucci & Carol Braunstein (Tri) Pleasing expression with dark eyes & pigment. Nicely balanced with good length. Moved well all ways. Well presented. BEST OPPOSITE SEX - PUPPY

2. AUBREY'S JUST ONE OF THE BOYS Owners: Cynthia & Vince Savioli (R/W) Youngest in the class. Nice head & earset. Nice bone & topline. Plush coat. Adequate movement when he did move.

3. DEERFIELD ENCHANTED KNIGHT Owners: Marilyn Cellucci & Carol Braunstein (R/W) Nice arch of neck.. Nice expression, but would prefer darker pigment. A little high on leg.

4. FAUX FOX WALK THE TALK Owner: Carol Mackness (Tri) Nicely balanced, good topline, pretty face. Unsettled today making it hard to assess his movement.

PUPPY 6-9 MONTHS, DOGS (1 exhibited)

1. CALISTA'S BOLD REASON Owners: John & Gaye Georges & John McCormack (Tri) Nice dark eyes with lots of dark pigment. Nice length. Moves a bit close in front. Nice side gait, but appears to fall off at the croup.

PUPPY 9-12 MONTHS, DOGS (1 exhibited)

1. WINDCREST NADOLIG ENCHANTED Owner: Mary-Elizabeth Simpson (R/W) Not much white. Nice expression. Good head proportions. Nice length. Clean coming & going. Nice side gait.

1. FOXTALE'S EMERALD ISLE Owners: Maureen & Allison Knoue (Tri) Nice expression, nice balance. A little high in rear. BEST OPPOSITE SEX - ADULT.

PUPPY 3-6 MONTHS, BITCHES (4 exhibited)

1. AUBREY'S JUST A DREAM Owners: C. & V. Savioli (R/W) Nice dark eye, nice expression. Nice balance. Moved well for young age.

2. AUBREY'S JUST FOR FUN Owners: C. & V. Savioli (R/W) Littermate to above & puppy dog. All 3 were sound & plush coated with much of the same attributes.

3. PEMBURY HOUSE LA PRIERE Owners: Deborah Beal & Patti Bittles (R/W) Nice balanced pup with dark eyes. Moved well.

4. PEMBURY HOUSE VERSAILLES Owner: Sandi Eaton (R/W) Very nice outline, length, arch of neck. Nice expression, nice eyes. Would have placed higher, but lost topline on the move.

PUPPY 6-9 MONTHS, BITCHES (4 exhibited)

1. PUTNAM'S LASTING DREAM OF DILYS Owners: Janet & Bill Richardson (Tri) Nice balance, nice head. Clean coming & going. Nice sidegait.

2. CALISTA'S SLIGHTLY DANGEROUS Owners: John & Gaye Georges (R/W) Nice topline. Clean coming & going. Nice sidegait.

3. CALISTA'S I DO DECLARE Owners: J. & G. Georges (Tri) Oozing with black eye pigment. Nice coming & going. Nice sidegait.

4. REVELMERE MAID OF HONOUR Owners: J. & B. Richardson (R/W) Pretty expression. Nice balance. Nice length of body. Lots of coat made her appear a bit over weight. Front movement is off today.

9-12 MONTHS, BITCHES (1 exhibited)

1. HERONSWAY TWO FOR THE SHOW Owner: Mary-Elizabeth Simpson (R/W) I liked this pup from the moment I saw her. Even thought she was loosing coat, her quality shined through.. Pretty head, sweet expression,very nice arch of neck & length of body. Very clean coming & going. Sidegait was very nice, holding her topline on the move. I was pleased to award her BEST IN MATCH - PUPPY

12-15 MONTHS, BITCHES (2 exhibited)

1. MYSTICAL SLAM DUNK Owner: Deborah Beal (R/W) Nice expression, good length & topline.. Clean coming & going. Sidgegait was very nice. BEST IN MATCH - ADULT

2. MYSTICAL HOOP DREAMS Owner: D. Beal (R/W) With lots of facial white. Would prefer a less round eye. Nice balance & movement all ways. Preferred head of above.
