what are the requirements?
One of the prerequisites to adopting a Pembroke
Welsh Corgi rescue is that a family must have a fenced yard. This
condition is waived if the family lives in an apartment setting
where leash walking is mandatory.
All potential adoptive families must also agree
to allow a member of the rescue committee to do a home inspection
prior to the adoption.
When a dog is adopted from us, the new family must
sign a corgi adoption contract that
states the dog will be a house pet, never off leash in an unfenced
area, and that it will be returned to as at any time in its life
-- for whatever reason -- if it can no longer stay in the new home.

adoption fee
Our adoption fee is $200-$250, depending on the amount of vet care
the corgi receives and length of time the corgi is in our program.
how long is the waiting list?
We do not adopt dogs out on a "first come,
first served" basis, rather we try to make the best match of
dog to family. After an application interview is completed, the
adoptive family is placed on a waiting list of others looking to
adopt. It is suggested that the prospective family checks back with
us after 4-6 weeks if they have not heard from us about a dog.
