A very special thanks to the Garden State Club for inviting me to judge the Match Show. A wonderfully run show thanks to the efforts of Laura Heckler, Match Chair. My classes ran very smoothly thanks to my terrific Ring Steward, Karen Hines. I wanted to also express my gratitude to all the exhibitors who presented their puppies in beautiful fashion and accepted their placings so graciously. I was overcome with the entries of so many dedicated breeders who took the time to bring out their puppies and show to me on a very hot day. In some of the classes toplines were questionable, but that's the puppy stage. Feet were not always correct in shape. Movement was impressive for such youngsters. In the end, my Best Puppy was thrilling to watch as he carried himself flawlessly in such heat. He never put a foot wrong and showed his heart out. Best of Opposite Puppy was a wonderful mover and on the road to developing into a lovely bitch. I fell in love with my Best Adult from the moment she entered the ring. Also a good showman for today her lovely movement and great profile just said "give it to me"!

PUPPY 3-6 MONTHS, DOGS (3
exhibited)
1. Lost River Tri’d N Tru Irish Stout
(Ch. Putnam Forever Splendor x Ch. Lost River’s
Hot Ticket) Breeder: Shawn Michael & Kathleen Hash.
Owner: Kathleen Hash & Shawn Michael. A very pleasing
body type with a very level topline which held on the move.
Moved with little effort around the ring. Would have liked
a better eye.
2. Honeyfox Sir Simon (Ch. Honeyfox Tiz
Now x Honey Fox Silk N Stockings) Breeder: Susan Strickland.
Owner: Catherine Pierre. A lovely length of back and lower
to the ground than number one. He is a longer puppy. Movement
today was a little choppy which could be due to his growth
and length.
3. Brunswigs Koushla (Fairysteeds Paparazzi
x Brunswigs Isn’t She der Loverly) Breeder: Phyllis
Farrer. Owner: Susan Dunne. A lovely red/white dog with a
wonderful head. He appeared in a growing stage and today presented
with a wide front.

PUPPY 6-9 MONTHS,
DOGS (7 exhibited)

1.Brogan Rubicon (Ch.
Caamora Gandy Dancer x Ch. Brogan Bells Chime) Breeder/Owner:

in lovely condition. I was pleased to award him Best Puppy
and wish his owner much luck in the future. BEST
PUPPY
2. Corgard Thanks for the Memories

Stripes (Twinan Another Chance for Salvenik x Llandian
Good Golly Ms. Molly) Breeders: Laura & John Ward, Andy
Carter, Dianne Connolly. Owners: Laura & John Ward, Andy

His correct structure should allow for easy movement but seemed
to give his handler a hard time in the heat.
4.Fairie Glen Reply
(Ch. Dwynella Take A Chance x Ch. Fairie Glen Dina O’ShanTeroo)
Breeders: Linda Munoz & Joyce Gotschall. Owner: Susan
Strickland. Nice neck into a good length of back. Adequate

in all directions.

this red/white dog with a level topline and pleasing head.
Would like to see a tighter elbow.
3.Honeyfox Johnny Angel (Elfwish

I would like to thank the PWCCGS for inviting me to judge
this year's match. Thanks to Karen Hines, Match
Chairperson and to Liliane Schuster, my ring steward,
everything went smoothly. The "western" picnic
was wonderful. It was a beautiful, but warm day. Judging
these pups was challenging, to say the least. I was pleased
with the overall quality. Movement, down & back, was
good in most of the pups. I would like to have seen better
side gait on some. Of course, some of the little babes
found it stressful to do all that was required of them.
Bites were all good. Nails were manicured. I was pleased
to see a lot of dark eyes. It is not at all easy to judge
puppies, as we all know how they go through stages. My
placings were made according to my observations on the
day. Thanks to all who exhibited and I hope that all your
pups grow on to meet their early promise.

1. CALISTA'S HEY RUBE (Ch. Caralon
Casper at Gaylord x Caralon Calista Wire to Wire) Breeders/Owners:
John and Gaye Georges. Red and white boy with light sableing.
He had a masculine head with a nice eye and nice size ears.
His sidegait was adequate from what I was able to evaluate
but was little shorter in body than ideal. That certainly
may come with age. He won this class today as he was bit
more cooperative and I preferred his head. BEST
OPPOSITE PUPPY
2. CALISTA'S ARROW TO THE SUN (Ch.
Caralon Casper at Gaylord x Caralon Calista Wire to Wire)
Breeders/Owners: John and Gaye Georges. Another red and
white lightly sabled puppy. He is very similar in type to
the first place puppy. I was not surprised to see they are
littermates. He too seemed to be an adequate mover but his
somewhat unwillingness made it a bit difficult to access.
He was a bit naughty today but at this age it is good that
they are just having fun. Both these puppies had nice rear
angles and bone.

Hot to Trot x Foxtale's Tourmaline) Breeder: Virginia
Fitzgerald. Owners: Maureen Knouse and Allison Knouse. A
nice tri colored boy with a good topline and lovely reach
of neck. He has an attractive headpiece with well set ears.
He was a little straight in front but his front was set
well back underneath him. He is a well balanced youngster
with a correct height to length ratio.

exhibited)
1. ZUKI'S GRAND MARSHALL(Ch. Culdi's
Delusions of Grandeur x Zuki's Sweet Vidalia) Breeder:
Marilyn Zukowski. Owners: Juliet Mastrangelo and Marilyn
Zukowski. Red and white male of appropriate size and proportion
with a nice turn of stifle. He had nicely shaped feet but
they were a bit discolored. He had an attractive masculine
headpiece. His coat seemed a bit unruly.
2. COSMO GALACTIC WARRIOR (Ch.
Waymans Apache War Warrior x Winway's Ruby Lass) Owner:
Ronald Garber. Dark red older style dog. He was not happy
on the table and it was apparent that showing was something
new to him. He's not the type or quality of the first place
dog. He would probably be quite happy to just stay home
and be a couch potato but doing some obedience or agility
could be fun for him.

VETERAN DOG (1
exhibited)
1. OTREKS SOONER MAGIC CDX (Ch.
Otreks Red Stripe x Ch. Otreks Amstel) Breeder: Karen
I. Skaggs. Owners: Mildred E. and C. Donald Harris. Cute
old red and white fellow of nice type who enjoyed his outing
today. He doesn't seem to know he's an old guy so we sure
won't tell him.

PUPPY 3-6 MONTHS,
BITCHES (3 exhibited)
1. CALISTA'S RUBY TWOSHOES (Ch. Caralon Casper
at Gaylord x Caralon Calista Wire to Wire) Breeders/Owners:
John and Gaye Georges. Red and white puppy with light sableing.
I see she is a littermate to the two puppy boys. She is
very similar in type to them. She had nice bone and an attractive
head. She had a level topline standing and moving. Like
her brothers, I would prefer her to be a bit longer.
2. SHANTEROO CINNAMON (Shanteroo Color Coded
x Shanteroo Blythe Spirit) Breeder: MaryAnne H. Neill.
Owner: Laura Campbell. Red and white with a lot of white.
She had a full white front and what looked to be about as
much white as the standard would allow. She also had a lot
of coat which made her topline appear a bit off. She too
would have a better height to length ratio if she was a
bit longer.
3. CORRIDA'S STAR DUST (Ch. Putnam Always Splendor
x Corrida's Forever Amber CD) Breeder: Irene Ferrant.
Owner: William Blakeney. Red and white cute baby girl who
had fun today. She is higher stationed and on the smaller
side. She lacked the bone and substance of the first two
puppies.

PUPPY 6-9 MONTHS,
BITCHES (1 exhibited)
1. BRUNSWIG'S ISIS AT FAIRYSTEED (Ch. Aberlee
Storm Force x Brusnwig's Cordelia) Breeder: Phyllis
Farrer. Owner: Karen Gunzel. Adorable red and white, very
typey puppy with an appealing outline. She has a very sweet
face with nice dark eyes that was the prettiest of the day.
She had good sidegait, was clean going away but a bit wide
coming. She was a bit out of coat. She is definitely my
type of girl and was closely considered for best puppy.

PUPPY 9-12 MONTHS,
BITCHES (1 exhibited)
1. BRUMBAER ALL ABOUT
ME (Brunswig's Field Of Dreams x Ch Brunswig's Crazy
for You) Owner: Sue King and Karen Fruhman. Long and
low definitely describes this lovely red and white puppy.
She has nice shoulders well set back underneath her a beautiful
turn of stifle with a well let down hock. She had the nicest
angles of the day. She is a free easy mover and good from
all directions. She was in beautiful coat and put down to
perfection. I was pleased to award her BEST PUPPY.

BITCHES (1 exhibited)
1. CALISTA'S MEMORIES OF THESPINA (Ch. Caralon
Calista Hail to Reason x Am/CAN Ch. Caralon Calista Yes
I Can) Breeders/Owners: John and Gaye Georges. A very
pretty tri bitch. She has a feminine head with dark eyes
and tons of pigment. She had good front angles, good ribbing
and nice let down hocks. Correct free moving sidegait. There
is very little to fault about her but she was a bit unsettled
today. Pleased to award her BEST
ADULT.

1. JIMANIE'S GOLDEN TOUCH TD (Ch.

side. She moved nicely from the side however she was a bit
straight in front.

I wish to thank the Garden State Club for inviting me
to judge their match. The site was lovely and the buffet
lunch was wonderful. Your gift certificate was much appreciated
and will be put to good use.
Special thanks to Richard Burd for acting as my ring steward.
I enjoyed the assignment, it was unfortunate being on
the heels of the national that the entry was small.
Again, thank you for your hospitality.

1. TENBAY'S CORNICHE (Ch. Hallmark's
Olympian x Aubrey Oakwind Abbey Road) Breeders: Roberta
Lord and Cynthia & Vincent Savioli. Owner: Roberta Lord.
Red and white with pleasing head and expression. Beautiful
neck blending into level topline. He had a balanced outline,
good bone and feet. He moved well from the side, wonderful
reach and drive. A very promising puppy that I was pleased
to Award Best Puppy in Match. I wish his owner continued success
with him. BEST PUPPY.

1. FAIRYSTEED'S PAPARAZZI (Ch. Cinonnie
Rigel x Fairysteed's Blazin' A Trail) Breeder: Karen Gunzel.
Owners: Marilyn Zukowski and K. Gunzel. Red and white with
masculine head with good proportions and pleasing expression.
Excellent bone and nice feet. Balanced outline but would
prefer more length. Heavy coat and "butt pad" sometimes
threw off his topline. In the final lineup his side gait and
type carried him through to BEST
ADULT.

NOVICE DOG (1

1. SBH SARAH BETH'S BARLEY BOY (SBH
Mac Cinder x SBH Princess Penny Wise) Breeder: Liesel
Treacy. Owner: James Fleming. Sable with love rich color.
On the day I have a feeling he would have liked to be elsewhere.
Not the head proportions of the top winners. Held topline
on the move. Adequate side gait but not as good coming as
some of the others.

PUPPY 6-9 MONTHS,
BITCHES (2 exhibited)
1. PUTNAM TRES CHIC OF AUBREY (Ch. Aubrey Oakwind
Armful of Fun x Ch. Putnam Dazzling Splendor) Breeder:
Jane P. McCormick. Owners: Cynthia & Vincent Savioli.
Red and white with balanced outline, good substance and
bone. Mowing well from the side, a bit wide coming at you
at this stage of development. Nice head with good proportions.
Level topline that held on the move. Would like more neck
to complete the picture and she was a tad overweight on
the day. Nonetheless I was happy to award her BEST
OF OPPOSITE PUPPY.
2. JIMANIE'S GOLDEN TOUCH (Jimanie's Sweet Talker
x Ch. Sua Mah Always in Cahoots) Breeders: Stephanie Hedgepath
and Linda Galphin. Owner: Peg Forte. Red and white puppy whose
head was not as pleasing as the puppy above. Movement was
adequate from the side but was a bit coming at you on the
day. Balanced outline but she fell off at the croup.

PUPPY 9-12 MONTHS,
BITCHES (1 exhibited)
1. HARMONY BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Brogan Bonny Belle at Harmony) Breeder: Melody
Kist. Owners: Rosemarie & Luke Jurain. Red headed tri
with lovely type. Well presented and handled she never let
down on her showmanship. Good topline that she held on the
move. She was wide in front, did not have the curvature around
the sternum I like to see. In the final lineup, she did not
have the reach and drive of the top winners.

15-18 MONTHS, BITCHES
(1 exhibited)
1. SPRING WAITES ABBY MAGIC (Cinonnie Sirius x
Daphne Honeyfox) Breeder: Juanita Hummel. Owner: James
Fleming. Red and white with pleasing head. She was in her
"skivvies" on the day which did not help the illusion
that she lacked substance. She was moving well from the side.
She had her mind elsewhere today, more ring experience should
take care of that. BEST OPPOSITE
TO BEST ADULT.

and did everything he was asked to do.
2. TRESAITH'S GOLDEN MEDALLION (Ch. Hallmark's

white boy: a little high on the leg and perhaps wide in
front.
3. FOXWAY JORASH FREEDOM FOR ALL (Ch. Windhamlair

1. FOXWAY JORASH FREEDOM FIRST (Ch. Windhamlair

2. FOXWAY JORASH FREEDOM RING (Ch. Windhamlair

Mottes and E. Schusterson. Owners: M. Pohl, S. Mottes and

on bone at this stage. But who knows how they will mature.
3. FOXWAY JORASH FREEDOM CRY (Ch. Windhamlair

S. Mottes and E. Schusterson. A nice little tri: who was
a little wobbly on the day.
4. TRESAITH'S GLENYS GOES FOR GOLD (Ch.

did not have the front of the others. But they are so young,
yet.

1. MYSTICAL CLASSIFIED AD (Ch. Arbor Sea and

today.
2. MYSTICAL SOCIETY PAGE AT FAUX FOX (Ch. Arbor
Sea and Tell CD, NA, NAJ x Ch. Mystical To Have and Have
Not) Breeder: Deborah Beal. Owners: Deborah Beal and
Carol Mackness. I suspected this little girl was the litter
mate of the former. She was quite similar, just a little
too much white for me and not quite as comfortable out there.
3. FOXWAY JORASH SWEET DESIGN (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Foxway Jorash Nico Last Star) Breeders: S.
Mottes and Ellen Schusterson. Owners: Andrew Carter and
Sandra Mottes. A red and white who could really move. She
was just a little shorter than the above and needed a little
more chest in front.
4. FOXTALE'S MIND GAMES (By His Grace Bear in Mind

It was with great pleasure that I accepted an opportunity
to judge your Garden State match and I was delighted to
find some very nice youngsters exhibited. Garden State
always shows the way in hospitality and I very much appreciated
the wonderful lunch and the gift certificate. The weather
co-operated although some of the little pups didn't and
why should they on such a nice fall day? A few exhibits
needed manicures but on the whole were very nicely presented.
I did notice a number of longer muzzles, which seems to
be an increasing problem in our breed. I would hope that
breeders take special note of desirable head type in the
future. Following are a few comments on the individual
entries:

4-6 Month Puppy
Dogs (2 entered)
1. Brunswig's Face the Music (CH Tallyrand No
Greater Love X Brunswig's Cordelia) Breeder/Owner: Phyllis
Farrer. A sable boy with a darling face. He has nice short
hocks and a very plush coat. His topline is somewhat off
at this stage. I expect he will lengthen as he grows. A
promising boy.
2. Deerfield's Gambler's Luck (CH Adurlands Gamblers
Glee of Brynelli X High Flyer Blackmint) Breeders: Marilyn
Cellucci, William Cellucci, Emma and Ralph Kovach. Owner:
Marilyn Cellucci. Tri-color boy with nice markings and very
good length. He carries much less coat than the class winner
and has considerable length of foreface and not a lot of
stop. He has an excellent show attitude in the ring.

1. Aubrey's Back N My Arms Again (CH Aubrey Brookehaven
Outlandish X CH Pinemeade Watercolors) Breeders/Owners:
Cynthia & Vincent Savioli. A red and white boy of attractive
type, except for considerable muzzle. He has a nice shoulder
and good reach and drive. Very well presented he had flowing
reach of neck that caught the eye.

1. Aubrey Oakwind Armful of Fun (CH Elfwish Leprechaun
X Aubrey's Victorian Lace) Breeders: Carra Cole, Cynthia
& Vincent Savioli. Owners: Cynthia and Vincent Savioli.
This sturdy red boy had an attractive head, good body length
and wonderful bone. He is very masculine for his age and
exhibited nice balance on the move. I would like to see
more reach of neck but he has a lot of growing and developing
to do.

Open Dogs (1

1. Tenbay's All My Loving (CH Tallyrand No Greater
Love X CH Aubrey's In the Vogue) Breeders/Owners: Roberta
Lord, Cynthia & Vincent Savioli. An eye-catching Black-headed
Tricolor in lovely coat. He is a young dog that has some
wonderful attributes. He is low-stationed with correct head
proportions, excellent bone and is a picture on the table.
He appears to be in excellent muscle-tone and certainly
high energy on the move. I suspect if he could relax a little
while gaiting he would exhibit better drive off the ground.
His wonderful layback and shoulder assembly were exactly
what I was looking for and I was very pleased to award him
BEST ADULT and BEST in MATCH.

2-4 Month Puppy
Bitches (2 entered)
1. Emma (CH Hum'nbird Keepn Up' Pearances X Foxway
Corgard Image Maker) Breeders/Owners: Michelle Pohl,
Kandy Boll and Sandra Mottes. A darling little baby with
a very cute head and lots of pretty neck. Red/White with
some sabling, she had a very nice coat and quite nice layback.
There was no way she could manage more than a few trotting
steps so we can only guess about movement.
2. Tory (CH Hum'nbird Keepn Up' Pearances X
Foxway Corgard Image Maker)
Breeders/Owners: Michelle Pohl, Kandy Boll and Sandra Mottes.
Littermate to No. 1 and very similar in many ways. To be
slightly critical she did not have the nice angles of her
sister although her head is equally fetching. She looks
a bit wide in front at this stage and was also not very
interested in gaiting although she had a down stay perfected.

4-6 Month Puppy
Bitches (5
entered)
1. Bruswig's Fiona Apple (CH Tallyrand
No Greater Love X Brunswig's Cordelia) Breeder Phyllis
Farrer. Owners: Sue King, Karen Fruhmann, Phyllis Farrer.
A red/white girl with an exceptional coat and very nice
type. She has a cute foxy expression, although I would like
a larger eye, and is correctly long and low. At this stage
of development she is quite high in the rear and I would
like to see her a pound or two lighter although I suspect
as she grows up she will lose some of this baby look.
2. Corgard's Smooth Cruisin' (CH Foxlor Shaferhaus
Sammy Sosa X CH Corgard Cocktails N Cruisin) Breeder/Owners:
Kandy Boll & Michelle Pohl. I preferred this red/white
girl's head to that of the class winner. Her sabling is
very attractive and she had a good rear movement and hock
flexion going away. I would like to see a better layback
of shoulder. A promising puppy, I wish we had shorter grass
so I could have seen her movement more clearly on this day.
3. Deerfield's Daddy's Delight (CH Adurlands
Gamblers Glee of Brynelli X High Flyer Blackmint) Breeders:
Marilyn Cellucci, Emm and Ralph Kovach MD. Owner: Marilyn
Cellucci. A red-headed Tricolor who was the best mover in
the class. She has a flowing sidegait and good balance.
At this point she seems somewhat high on leg and a little
wide coming at me. I suspect this girl has some real promise
and could mature into a very nice showgirl.
4. Corgard's Comin' Back Cruisin (CH Foxlor Shaferhaus
Sammy Sosa X CH Corgard Cocktails N Crusin) Breeders/Owners:
Kandy Boll and Michele Pohl. Another red-headed tricolor,
littermate to No. 2 who has less length than her sister.
An attractive youngster she seems to be in a "stage"
where she needs forechest and is traveling a little wide
in front. She may change considerably as she matures and
both may be corrected.

6-9 Month Puppy
Bitches (2 entered)
1. Aubrey's Buy Me a Rose (CH Aubrey Brookehaven
Outlandish X CH Pinemeade Watercolors) Breeders: Cynthia
& Vincent Savioli. Owners: Richard Burd & Cynthia
and Vincent Savioli. This red/white girl has an exceptional
profile standing and excellent sidegait that is balanced
and flowing. I kept coming back to her and think she has
a very nice future ahead of her. While her head was not
my favorite, as I felt it lacked sufficient stop, she pushed
very hard for Best Puppy. Her owner must be very happy to
have such a promising puppy.
2. Tresaith's Dream on the River Teifi (Woodhenge
Dream Maker X Tresaith Lamin Scandalous) Breeder/Owners:
Janet & Bill Richardson. A red-headed tricolor whose
head I preferred over the class winner. At this stage her
topline is off and I would prefer more turn of stifle. She
covered the ground very well from the side but was a bit
close behind going away.

9-12 Month Puppy
Bitches (3 entered)
1. Aubrey Oakwind Abbey Road (CH Elfwish Leprechaun
X Aubrey's Victorian Lace) Breeders: Carra Cole, Cynthia
& Vincent Savioli. Owners: Cynthia & Vincent Savioli.
Red and White girl with exceptional bone and coat. She presented
a lovely picture standing and I preferred her head over
the other two pups. Low stationed, she covered the ground
with ease. A substantial puppy, I was pleased to award her
BEST PUPPY.
2. Tallyrand Devoted To You (CH Tallyrand Archangel
Michael X CH Tallyrand Consider the Lillies) Breeders/Owners:
Joseph and Lois Zelenski. This red/white girl presented
a pleasing outline and nice rear angles. I found her eye
somewhat round and would like to see a stronger underjaw.
Although she has a short upper arm, she does have an excellent
topline. A high energy girl, she provides her handler with
a good deal of fun.
3. Foxway Lace on Lace (CH Perrymist Red Affair
X Jimanies Irish Lace) Breeders: Sherryn Viebrock and
Sandra Mottes. Owner: Kandy Boll. Another very nice red/white
girl in the most competitive class of the day. Nicely presented,
this girl was very well trained and showed herself to advantage.
I preferred the heads of 1 and 2 and found this well developed
girl a little higher on leg. However I expect she will do
very well in the show ring as she seems to really enjoy
it.

12-18 Junior Bitches
(2 entered)
1. Aubrey's Zinnia (CH Tallyrand No Greater Love
X Aubrey's In the Vogue) Breeders/Owners: Roberta Lord,
Cynthia & Vincent Savioli. A red litter sister to the
Best in Match who is extremely nice in her own right. She
has a gorgeous neck and topline and a pleasing head. Her
proportions are very nice and while I'd like a longer upper
arm she did have very nice angles. On this day she was trying
to blow most of her coat.
2. Foxwillow Sophie Beloved (none provided) Breeder:
John Walsh DVM. Owners: John and Debra Rogers. This red
girl had a very sweet head and expression. She appeared
to move closely behind going away and today her topline
seemed to fall off at the croup. I suspect she is just coming
back into coat and that held her back today in this company.

I want to thank all those people who came to the
Garden State Match in spite of the rain and cold. I'm
sure this site is lovely on a nice fall day. Thanks to
my steward for all the extra steps she had to take to
keep ribbons and paperwork out of the rain. Most of the
babies would not move on the long wet grass and I could
not blame them. Most of the puppies were too large for
age and coarse all over. Saw very few correct heads and
proper balance. I think it is time we selected for a proper
size puppy before every dog in the ring is oversize. Having
shown what I thought was a big dog only to realize he
was small in comparison to others, I worry that corgis
are getting too large.

2-4 Months Dogs
1. Tenbay's All My Loving Owner: Bobbe Lord. Pretty
black headed tri-color, correct head with very dark eyes,
low to the ground with heavy bone carried right to his feet.
A promising baby.
2. Brogan Bell Bottoms Owner: Mari Fleming Carroll.
R& W higher on leg with a longer hock than the 1st puppy.
Pretty head with a nice dark eye. Appeared short in neck
at this age.

puppy with light bone and too coarse in head.
4. Ercildown's Gusto Owner: Dinah Flack. Another
puppy too coarse in head. Over done all over. Very narrow
lower jaw.

9-12 Months Dog
1. Milestone Honeymooner. Owner: Donna Gilbert.
Large rangy tricolor, too big for me however he is balanced
for size and carries a good topline.

Open Dog
1. Forest (CH Llandian's Sweet Success x Tallyrand
Amazing Love) Owner: Marion Rapp. Large R&W, not
the head type I look for. Moved very close behind and could
use more bone for his size.

2-4 Months Bitches
1. Brogan Bonny Belle At Harmony (Pemintenn
Daydream Believer x Brogan's Belle Of The Ball) Owner:
Melody Kist. Pretty head with a nice eye. Well let down
hocks and when she moved she carried herself well.
2. Brogan Bells Chimes Owner: Mari Fleming Carroll.
Sister to the #1 puppy, larger well proportioned puppy.
Another with a pretty head and eye. She is higher on leg
but presented a pretty outline.
3. Aubrey's Zinnia (CH Tallyrand No Greater
Love x CH Aubreys In The Vogue) Owner: Bobbe Lord. Prettiest
head and eye in this class. She had the shortest hocks and
good bone right down to her feet. Faulted her wide set shoulders.

4-6 Months Bitches
1. Heronsway Heart's Desire (CH Heronsway How Sweet
It Is x Ch Heronsway Heartbeat) Owner: Anne Bowes. Beautiful
head and eye, good attitude, lovely short hocks and good
bone. Made the most of herself on a very wet day. Loved
this one's dam and grand-dam and this could be the best.
BEST PUPPY/BEST IN MATCH
2. Heronsway Take Heart (CH Heronsway
How Sweet It Is x Ch Heronsway Heartbeat) Owner: Anne
Bowes. Sable & White sister to #1. Smaller version of
the first, pretty head and eye, good bone, good outline.
Another one making the most of herself of a very wet day.
Not the glamour of her sister.
3. Dottie Owner: Deborah Wheeler. A very pretty
R & W puppy, larger frame than those above hope she
doesn't get too big. Good back and bone but she doesn't
want to be here today.
4. Holly Owner: Deborah Wheeler. Red, Sable and
White puppy, smaller type, proper triangular head, she had
good bone for her size. Another one that could have tried
harder.

6-9 Month Bitches
1. Harmony Castle Creek (CH Ariel's Cullum Kill,
CDX,HC x CH Pinemeade Moment By Moment, HC) Owner: Melody
Kist. Pretty head on this black headed tricolor. She is
very upright at this stage.
2. Sara Owner: Rose Jurain. Good bone, short hocks,
good topline and moved with purpose. The picture was spoiled
by a long narrow head.

Open Bitch
1. Foxtale's Babbling Brook Owner: Shawn Michael.
Heavy, coarse bitch whose weight did not help her. Proper
shape to her head, just too much bitch for me. BEST

A most sincere "thank you" to the PWCCGS for inviting
me to judge your Annual Fall Match. A special "thanks"
to show chairman Harold Small and Chief ring steward,
Lynne Small, for a well-organized event, and for selecting
my excellent ring steward, Karen Gunzel. She kept me on
track.
My gift of "corgi" salt and pepper shakers is adorable thank
you!
To those who worked so hard to make this a special
day Congratulations! You succeeded. To those who showed
me their lovely corgis, thank you; and please remember
the opinions and placings are only on the day. Puppies
especially can change dramatically.
Although the weather did not cooperate, the dogs
and handlers did. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

6 - 9 Month Puppy
Bitches
1. Tallyrand Blessed Assurance (Ch. Tallyrand

level topline. I'd like a bit more neck--made her owner
work on the move!
2. Tallyrand Believe in Miracles (Ch. Tallyrand
No Greater Love x Tallyrand Brynmere First Love) Breeders:
Joseph and Lois Zelenski. Owners: Mary-Elizabeth Simpson
and Lois Zelenski. Gorgeous head, excellent rear and topline,
tri-color. Needs front improvement.
3. Aubrey's Water Lily (Ch. Hallmarks Olympian
x Ch. Pinemeade Watercolors) Breeders/Owners: Cynthia
and Vince Savioli. Long, lovely, good front and side gait,
bit wide in rear in today's wet grass. Heavy rear coat made
it appear to ride up a bit in rear.
4. Harmony From the Moment On (Ch. Hum'nbird
Valedictorian x Ch. Pinemeade Moment by Moment, HC).
Breeder/Owner: Melody Kist. Lovely length and excellent
level topline. Nice mover, higher on leg than ideal--gave

To begin I would like to thank the PWCCGS for inviting
me to judge this year's match. It was with a great deal
of anticipation that I arrived at the show site that beautiful
fall morning. But gratefully, match chairman, Lynne Small,
put me immediately at ease. And I know I would never have
managed if it had not been for my most able ring steward,
Melody Kist, who kept the ring running smoothly and saw
to my every need. I would like to thank all the exhibitors
for entrusting their babies to my ministrations and for
graciously accepting my decisions. I'm sure no one needs
to be reminded that my decisions were my observations on
the day. And particularly when considering the younger classes
(specifically 2 to 4 months), it was difficult to assess
movement on some of the babies who were finding the day
a little stressful. The placings in those classes might
easily be reversed as those puppies have a chance to mature.
One small observation that I feel should be expressed I
noticed that some of the length that we are getting in the
dogs seems to be coming from length of loin when ideally
the length should be in the rib cage with a short loin.

Puppy Dogs 2-4 month
1. Honeyfox Federal Express (Terenelf's Special
Delivery x Honeyfox Shell Seeker) Breeder/Owner: Susan
Strickland. Red and white puppy that was well balanced, had
good length of back and neck, and ample bone. Movement was
easy to assess on this one he was clean coming and going
and had nice side movement. I would prefer a slightly larger
eye, but pigment was nice and dark.
2. Corgards Hollywood Traveler (Ch. Foxway Legacy
Traveler x Corgard Cocktails-N-Starlite) Breeders/Owners:
Kandy Boll, Michelle Pohl and Sandra Mottes. Red-headed tricolor
that was a little more compact than #1. He had a pretty head
and good bone. I would like to see a little more reach of
neck. This puppy was a real chunk, but not fat. He exhibited
nice ground covering sidegait even at his tender age, but
he was wide in the front which I'm sure will come together
as this pup matures and loses some of his chunkiness.
3. Ardudwy Percival (Ch. Aubrey Brookehaven Outlandish
x Belayre-Heronsway Jubilation) Breeders: Liza Clark and
Deborah Hunt. Owner: Liza Clark. Red and white with a pretty
head, but a light eye. He was also compact in body and had
good bone. His movement was clean coming and going but was
unable to hold his topline from the side.
4. Zuki's LaRouge at Faux Fox (Ch. Tams the Jazzman
of Larchmont x Ch. Zuki's All About Bridget). Breeder:
Marilyn Zukowski. Owners: Carol Mackness and Marilyn Zukowski.
Red and white that had nice length of back and angulation
front to rear was well-balanced. He stood high behind today
and he was one who's movement was a little more difficult
to assess.

Puppy Dogs 4-6 month
1. Elf Saddle Black and Tan (Ch. Tournai's Hardtack
F'Northrun x Elf Saddle I Tri Harder, CD, HC). Breeders/Owners:
Henry C. and Barbara A. Schick. A very dark red-headed tricolor
with nice length of back and a good topline standing and moving.
He had adequate bone and, although his head proportions were
good, I would prefer a softer expression.
2. Larchmonts Nicholas (Ch. Schaferhaus Usherhaus
Robbi x Nebriowa Double Dilemma). Breeders: Pat Jensen
and Lois Riesenberg. Owner: Susan Strickland. Red and white
that was shorter coupled than #1. His sidegait was adequate,
but he was unable to hold his topline. He was lighter boned.
3. Terenelf's Rocky Road (Terenelf's Mocha Chip
x Terenelf's Special Pudding) Breeder: Lois Kay. Owner:
Shirley M. Murray. Another red and white that was lighter
boned. He had good reach of neck and nice length of back.
He did not have the angulation front and rear that the two
ahead of him had and he had a roach over the loin.

Puppy Dogs 6-9 month
1. Tallyrand No Greater Love (Ch. Llandians Sweet
Thoughts x Ch. Tallyrand Amazing Love). Breeders/Owners:
Joseph and Lois Zelenski. A plain red and white dog that took
my breath away the moment he walked in the ring. He had an
absolutely beautiful head well refined, but masculine, nice
dark eyes and good ear set. He was presented in perfect condition- an
absolutely beautiful coat. He had wonderful length of back,
lots of bone, nice short hocks. His side movement exhibited
tremendous reach and drive and he was clean coming and going.
I was more than pleased to have the opportunity to award him
BEST PUPPY and BEST IN MATCH.
2. Aubrey's My Cousin Vinny (Am/Can Ch. Aubrey
Brookehaven Outlandish x Ch. Pinemeade Watercolors). Breeders/Owners:
Cindy and Vincent Savioli. A very flashy red and white with
good length of back and reach of neck and good sidegait. He
was a little lighter boned and longer in hock than #1 and
I preferred the depth of body on #1. He was a little unsettled
in the ring on the day.
3. Llandians Simply Sweet (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Llandians Simply Elegant) Breeder: Dianne Connolly.
Owners: Karen Hines and Dianne Connolly. Red and white pup
that was more compact in body than those above. Although more
masculine in head, he had a very good head with a nice dark
eye. He had a shorter hock which I prefer. He was clean coming
and going and had good reach and drive. Unfortunately, he
was unable to hold his topline on the move. Hopefully, this
will correct itself with age and maturity.
4. Tallyrand Zayin Zephyr (Ch. Llandians Sweet
Thoughts x Ch. Tallyrand Amazing Love). Breeders: Joseph
and Lois Zelenski. Owner: Marion M. Rapp. Another red and
white pup and littermate to #1. He stood a little taller off
the ground, had good length of back and good angulation front
and rear. He was also a little unsettled in the ring on the
day which made his movement a little more difficult to assess
than those above. He needs some time to mature and some practice
in the ring.

Puppy Dogs 9-12 month
1. Corgard Dream Big Dream Often, CGC (Ch. Rosewood
Kodiac x Ch. Corgard It's Cocktail Time) Breeders: Kandy
Boll and Michele Pohl. Owners: Karen Simpson, Kandy Boll,
and Michele Pohl. A nicely balanced red and white dog with
adequate bone. I would prefer a more refined head. He was
clean coming and going and sidegait was more than adequate.
2. Culdi's Black Tie Affair (Ch. Pennington Ramblin'
Lad x Ch. Tams Tres Doux, HS). Breeder: Stephanie Snide.
Owners: Gary & Pat Carreau and Stephanie Snide. Red-headed
tricolor with better head proportions than #1 but he needed
a darker eye. He was longer in back than #1 and was presented
in beautiful condition. He had good ground-covering sidegait
but was unable to hold his topline on the move. On moving
away, he toed in behind and coming at you, he was loose in
the elbows.

Dogs 12-18 month
1. Zuki's Tuff Hedeman (Ch. Sandyshire's Prophesea
x Ch. Zuki's All About Bridget) Breeder/Owner: Marilyn
Zukowski. A soft red and white with nice length of back, good
bone and short hocks. He had a nice head but could use a darker
eye. His side movement was good, but he could be cleaner coming
at you.
2. Foxway Legacy Pending (Ch. Foxway Corg'rd
Crystal Legacy x Ch. Foxway A Rumour of Grace) Breeders:
Sandra Mottes, Michele Pohl and E. Schusterson. Owner: Kandy
Boll. A red-headed tricolor with a beautiful head. Unfortunately,
he did not have the movement of #1 as he lost his topline
both when standing and moving. He could use a better front
and rear.

Open Dog
1. Hallmarks Olympian (Am/Can. Ch. Aubrey Brookehaven
Outlandish x Hallmark Snickers) Breeders: Midge Ruscak
and Valerie Brown. Owners: Cindy and Vincent Savioli and Midge
Ruscak. Red-headed tricolor that was presented in absolutely
beautiful condition. His full white collar accentuates his
jet black saddle which made him impossible to be overlooked.
He had a good head, nice dark eye and good ear set. His movement
was free and easy. He had nice reach of neck (also accentuated
by his white collar), good angles front and rear, nice short
hocks and adequate bone. I was pleased to be able to award
him BEST ADULT IN MATCH.
2. Culdi's Delusions of Grandeur, PT, NA. (Ch.
Aubrey's Heart of the Matter x Ch. Tam's Tres Doux, HS). Breeder/Owner:
Stephanie Snide. A sable dog who was unfortunate enough to
meet #1. Also a nice dog but not the length of #1. He also
had a straighter stifle and his coat was not in the condition
of #1. He had nice ground-covering sidegait, but was not clean
coming at you. I preferred the darker eye and ear set of #1.

Bitches 2-4 month
1. Honeyfox Tell Me Know Secrets (Ch. Lamin Paws
Somebody Lied x Larklain Darcys Merry Miss) Breeder/Owner:
Susan Strickland. Red and white with a pretty head and nice
dark eye. Nicely balanced with good reach of neck and good
bone. Movement was easy to assess--she was more than adequate
in the class but actually moved better in the best puppy class.
2. Zuki's Watch Me (Ch. Tams Jazzman of Larchmont
x Ch. Zuki's All About Bridget) Breeder/Owner: Marilyn
Zukowski. Red and white with a maximum amount of white. She
had a pretty head and good reach of neck which was emphasized
by her full white collar. She had nice length of back but
would prefer a little more bone. Her movement was clean coming
and going and on the side, but I found her stifle white a
little distracting from her overall picture.
3. Corgards Starlite Traveler (Ch. Foxway Legacy
Traveler x Corgard Cocktails-N-Starlite) Breeders/Owners:
Kandy Boll, Michelle Pohl and Sandra Mottes. Red-headed tricolor
that was more immature than the two placed above her, but
was she cute! She had a pretty head and exhibited beautiful
sidegait. Like her littermate brother she was a little chunk.
The maturity of the two placed above her is what gave them
the edge over her.
4. Corgards First Class Traveler (Ch. Foxway
Legacy Traveler x Corgard Cocktails-N-Starlite) Breeders/Owners:
Kandy Boll, Michelle Pohl and Sandra Mottes. A light sable
that I see is related to #3. She also has a very pretty head
although the ear set appeared lower. Her angles were a little
straighter than her sister and she really did not want to
cooperate on the move which may be the reason she appeared
to have a roach over the loin.

Bitches 4-6 month
1. Elf Saddle Allspice (Ch. Tournai's Hardtrack
F'Northrun x Elf Saddle I Tri Harder, CD, HC) Breeders/Owners:
Henry C. and Barbara A. Schick. A dark red-headed tricolor
that presented herself really well. The puppy had a nicely
balanced outline, good sidegait and nice topline which she
held standing and moving. Like her brother, she had good head
proportions, but I would prefer a softer expression and a
darker eye. She was a little light in bone.

Bitches 6-9 months
1. Aubrey's Victorian Lace (Am/Can Ch.
Aubrey Brookehaven Outlandish x Ch. Pinemeade Watercolors).
Breeders/Owners: Cindy and Vincent Savioli. Red and white
with great length of back, nice turn of stifle and good bone.
She was a little longer in muzzle and higher on leg than my
own personal preference, but had a nice dark eye. Her side
movement was good, but she toed in in front.
2. Aubreys Victoria's Secret (Am/Can Ch. Aubrey
Brookehaven Outlandish x Ch. Pinemeade Watercolors). Breeders:
Cindy and Vincent Savioli. Owners: Sue King and Cindy &
Vincent Savioli. Red and white litter sister to #1 who was
very similar to her--she had the same length, same head but
a little less bone. Although sidegait was good, she was unable
to hold her topline on the move. She also toed in in front.
Her coat was not in as good a shape on the day.
3. Aubrey's In The Vogue (Am/Can Ch. Aubrey
Brookehaven Outlandish x Ch. Pinemeade Watercolors). Breeders:
Cindy and Vincent Savioli. Owners: Roberta Lord and Cindy
& Vincent Savioli. And yet another red and white sister.
This litter was extremely consistent in type as she also had
good length. She had the prettiest head, but did not have
quite the same sidegait and she also lost her topline on the
move.
4. Irish Creeks Solar Eclipse (Ch. Corgards The
Moose Is Loose x Ch. Irish Creeks French Toast) Breeders/Owners:
Kandy Boll and Michele Pohl. Very flashy tricolor that was
much smaller than those placed above her. She needed more
length and bone. She had a cute head and was presented in
good condition. She lost her topline on the move.

Bitches 9-12 month
1. Culdi's Cut to the Chase (Ch. Pinemeade Paper
Dragon x Culdi's Last Chance At Love) Breeder/Owner: Stephanie
Snide. Very pretty red and white that had good length of back,
good reach of neck, well laid shoulder and nice turn of stifle.
She moved well around the ring.
2. Honeyfox Bells and Whistles (Sterling Flares
L'Duncan x Carousel Larklain Starbell) Breeder/Owner:
Susan Strickland. Also a very pretty red and white. I just
preferred the size and side movement of #1, and she lost her
topline on the move.

Novice Bitch
1. Culdi's Pennies from Heaven (Ch. Pettiwood's
PennyAnte x Ch. Hungry Heart O'Culdi, HS) Breeder/Owner:
Stephanie Snide. Red and white with a very pretty head and
nice eye. She was nicely balanced and had a nice short hock.
She had good sidegait. I would prefer a little more bone.

I'd like to thank you for the privilege of judging
your match show on October 6, 1996. Not only was there a
nice entry of corgis, but the weather and show site were

All of the exhibitors were good sports and accepted

A special thank you to my steward, Melody Kist, for

it is very much appreciated.

Puppy Dogs 2-4 months
1) HALLMARKS OLYMPIAN (Am/Can Ch. Aubrey Brookehaven
Outlandish, HC x Hallmark Snickers) Breeder: Midge Ruscak
and Valarie J. Brown Owners: Cindy & Vincent Savioli and
Midge Ruscak. A very promising tri puppy dog in excellent
condition, well handled and of excellent type. This pup has
a pretty, well-shaped head, nice outline and balance, level
topline and short hocks. His movement is adequate at this
age and his front appears to be well assembled.
2) ZUKI'S TUFF HEDEMAN (Ch. Sandyshire's Prophesea
x Ch. Zuki's All About Bridget) Breeder/Owner: Marilyn
Zukowski. Not the exquisite type of #1, but a very nice puppy.
The outline and balance here also very correct, nice eye color
and pigment-overall a promising puppy.
3) HONEYFOX DUSTY TRAILS (Ch. Honeyfox Drifting
and Dreaming x Honeyfox Waltzing Matilda) Breeder/Owner:
Susan Strickland. A pretty red and white boy, not too keen
on the lead today. This puppy has a good topline and correct
angles front and rear.
4) HONEYFOX BLACK TIE AND TAILS (Ch. Honeyfox
Drifting and Dreaming x Honeyfox Waltzing Matilda) Breeder/Owner:
Susan Strickland. A nice tri-puppy in good condition--moving
close behind.

Puppy Dogs 4-6 months
1) ARIEL'S ZACHARY DARLING (Ch. Lorjen & Malvern
Fancy That x Ch. Ariel's Wendy Darling) Breeders/Owners:

male with a beautiful headpiece, excellent feet, and a nice
outline. Well-handled.
2) TANNER (Ch. Honeyfox Starstruck x Wexford's
Molly Mix Up) Breeder: Dinah Flack. Owners: Beth &
Jen Sinclair. Another nice red and white puppy, excellent
condition, well made, and nicely handled. Toes in a bit going
away.
3) FAIRYSTEED'S TO BOLDLY GO (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Fairysteed's Amazin' Brunswig) Breeders: Karen
Gunzel & Phyllis Farrer Owner: Karen Gunzel. A red and
white puppy in nice condition--harder to evaluate as unsettled
today. Appears to move wide in front as well as behind.

Puppy Dogs 6-9 months
1) FOXTALE'S ABSOLUT (Foxtale's Jameson at Applebo
x Foxtale's A Star is Born) Breeder/Owner: Virgina C.
Fitzgerald. This red and white puppy has a very striking outline

Stands and moves close in the front.
2) TERENELF'S STARTREK (Ch. Honeyfox Starstruck
x Putnam Naughty Angel) Breeder/Owner: Lois E. Kay. A
very nicely balanced sable dog-unfortunately unsettled today
and making his movement hard to assess.

1) LLANDIAN'S SWEET SUCCESS (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Ch. Llandian's Touch of Elegance) Breeder/Owner:
Dianne Connolly. This is a very striking red and white boy
that moves with purpose and drive. I liked him the minute
he came into the ring as he is quality from head to toe. He
is sound coming and going and superb from the side. This dog
excels in showmanship and is in excellent condition. Shown
very well. BEST IN MATCH. BEST
PUPPY IN MATCH.

Junior Dog 12-18
months
1) AUBREY AYLESFORD SPORTS FAN (Ch. Aubrey Brookehaven
Outlandish x Aylesford Jazz Time of Fun) Breeders/Owners:
Cindy and Vincent Savioli. This is an up to size boy who holds
his topline well on the move and while standing. His side
gait is excellent and an overall nice type dog, well handled
as well.
2) LARKLAIN'S DARCY MEDALLION (Ch. Dwynella Look
Me Over x Larklain Terenelf Jazz a Mile) Breeder: Elaine
Erganbright. Owner: Karen Furhman. A sable boy who pushed
the first place winner hard. Beautiful type, nice movement,
a very good dog.
3) HONEYFOX RHYME N REASON (Ch. Honeyfox Starstruck
x Ch. Honeyfox Naughty Nutmeg) Breeder/Owner: Susan Strickland.
This tri-color boy has a very nice outline-a bit straight
behind and wider than I'd like in the front.

Novice Dogs
1) KESJANA SIMON SEZ AMEN (Ch Honeyfox Starstruck
x Ch. Tallyrand Rejoice of Kesjana) Breeder: Deborah E.
Wilson and Chris Tubby. Owners: Timothy Williams and Carrie
Christiansen. This is a large red and white dog who has an
attractive head and is in very good condition. He is shown
well, of correct proportions, but unfortunately soft in topline.

Puppy Bitches 2-4
months
1) BOLD IMAGE'S JAZZY LADY (Ch. Nebriowa Jovan
x Heronsway Skyview Moonglow) Breeders: Karen Butterworth
and Anne Bowes. Owner: Karen Butterworth. This is a very nice
red-headed tri bitch of exceptional type. She excels in outline
and balance with good bone substance and sound movement.
2) KESTREL BEAUTIFUL DREAMER (Am/Can. Ch. Aubrey
Brookehaven Outlandish x Ch. Left Bank Kestrel Lucid Dream)
Breeder: Anne Caterson. Owners: Ann Caterson and Cindy &
Vincent Savioli. Another red-headed tri , finer in bone and
substance than #1. She is a real showgirl, very well handled
and in excellent condition. She is taller with a narrower
skull at this stage than I prefer.
3) HONEYFOX TRI ME (Ch. Honeyfox Ragtime Cowboy
x Larklains Funtime N' Candy) Breeder/Owner: Susan Strickland.
this bitch is too small for me and lighter in bone than I
would like at this age. She was nicely shown, and was in good
condition.

Puppy Bitches 4-6
months
1) ARIELS ZIESSI DARLING (Ch. Lorjen and Malvern
Fancy That x Ch. Ariel's Wendy Darling) Breeders/Owners:
Lynne and Harold Small. A red and white beautiful bitch pup
of exceptional type. She has a very good outline with good
balance and she moved soundly. This pup was very nicely handled
and I consider her a very promising puppy.
2) FAIRYSTEED'S BLAZIN A TRAIL (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Fairysteed's Amazin' Brunswig) Breeders: Karen
Gunzel & Phyllis Farrer. Owner: Karen Gunzel. This is
also a very nice bitch, good eye color and pigment, shown
well and in nice condition. Her movement is good, but not
the reach of #1.
3) FAIRYSTEED'S CADMIUM RED (Ch. Salvenik Sweet
Thoughts x Fairysteed's Amazin' Brunswig) Breeders: Karen
Gunzel & Phyllis Farrer. Owner: Karen Gunzel. This puppy
is finer type and taller than I like. She is in good condition.

Puppy Bitches 6-9
months
1) TALLYRAND CONSIDER THE LILLIES (Ch. Salvenik
Sweet Thoughts x Ch. Tallyrand Amazing Love) Breeders/Owners:
Lois and Joseph Zelenski. An outstanding bitch with very good
movement. She is sound front and rear, very well handled and
in good condition. I would prefer a shorter muzzle.
2) FOXTALE'S TANQUERAY (Foxtale's
Jameson at Applebo x Foxtale's a Star is Born) Breeder/Owner:
Virginia Fitzgerald. A very flashy red and white puppy, nice
head and in good condition. There is a dip behind her withers
which spoils her outline today, her topline should firm with
age.
3) CORRIDA'S CABINRIDGE CRYSTAL (Ch. Blaizewood
Hooray Henry, CDX x Corrida's Little Bo-Peep) Breeder:
Irene Ferrant Owner: Joann Martin. This is a pretty type puppy,
not very happy to be here today, but nevertheless a quality
puppy.
4) PADDYKIN'S GEORGIA ON MY MIND (Ch. Kings Quoit
of Revelmere x Wee Folk Little Miss Maggie) Breeder/Owner:
Lynne O'Connor. A puppy in good condition, nicely handled
but wide in the front. Hopefully with age she will improve
in front.

Puppy Bitches 9-12
Months
1) BRUNSWIG'S VIOLETTE (Ch. Salvenik Sweet Thoughts
x Brunswig's Secret Garden) Breeder/Owner: Phyllis Farrer.
This bitch in my opinion is just about as good as you can
get! She is sound front and rear, excellent from the side,
and clearly could work all day. Handled perfectly, in very
good condition and a super showgirl. Her breeder should be
proud!
2) FOXTALE REACHING FOR A STAR (Ch. Honeyfox Starstruck
x Ch. Champagne N Caviar) Breeder/Owner: Virginia Fitzgerald.
Here we have a quality bitch overall, she has a nice outline,
unfortunately close in front standing and on the move. Not
in her best coat today.
3) PUTNAM'S LITTLE PRINCESS IVY (Ch. Honeyfox
Starstruck x Cierra's Fireweed) Breeder/Owner: Jane P.
McCormick. When this bitch uses herself she makes a very pretty
picture. Her outline and balance are good, she is a nice type
puppy in good condition. Unfortunately she is close in front
and tends to toe in.
4) JANRY'S FOXLANE'S FASCINATION (Janry's Max
Factor V Foxway x Janry's Popcorn) Breeders: Henry &
Jane Dancosses and Suzanne Cruder. Owner: Suzanne Cruder.
This is a showy bitch of a nice type, moved adequately but
too fine boned for me.

Puppy Bitches 12-18
months
1) LARKLAIN DARCYS MERRY MISS (Ch. Dwynella Look
Me Over x Larklain Terenelf Jazz A'Mile) Breeder: Elaine
Erganbright. Owner: Susan Strickland. Outstanding in type,
beautiful outline, very pretty head and handled very well.
I like this bitch very much, just wish she held a firmer back
as she tends to roach over the loin.
2) HONEYFOX BUTTONS N BOWS (Ch. Honeyfox Starstruck
x Ch. Honeyfox Naughty Nutmeg) Breeder/Owner: Susan Strickland.
This bitch is finer in bone and has a good outline with a
nice length of neck, and a pretty head. Movement here is good
and conditioned very well.
3) OTREKS SIRRAH DREAM CATCHER (Ch. Rivona Top
Notch x Ch. Otreks Pale Draft of Redbud) Breeder: Karen
I. Skaggs. Owners: Mildred E. and Donald Harris. Here is another
nice type bitch in excellent condition. Showed and moved well.
She is narrow in front at this age. Hopefully with maturity
her front will improve, but an overall nice bitch.
4) HONEYFOX MRS. TIGGLYWINKLE (Ch. Honeyfox Starstruck
x Ch. Naughty Nutmeg) Breeder: Susan Strickland Owner:
Valerie and Alexis Mascitti. Movement let this bitch down,
a very nice type, good back and nice condition.

Novice Bitches
1) FORFOX LITTLE EGYPT (Ch. Bicliff's Token Motion
x Ch. Forfox Liz Claiborn) Breeders: Jean A. and Chester
L. Fordyce. Owner: Karen S. Miller. This is very much a quality
bitch that moves well from the side and is sound coming and
going. She is a nice type, in good condition, and very well
handled.

Open Bitches
1) TALLYRAND BRYNMERE FIRST LOVE Breeders: Lois F.
Zelenski, Kristen L. Francis & Anita A.E. Cameron Owners:
Joseph and Lois Zelenski. An outstanding tri-bitch who makes
a beautiful picture standing. Her outline and balance are
top notch and she has a firm back and moves very well. To
be picky, she moves close in front but an overall very good
package. Shown very well and in the best condition. BEST
ADULT IN MATCH.
2) HERONSWAY SKYVIEW MOONGLOW (Ch. Festiniogs
Touchdown UDPT x Ch. Heronsway Ruby Red Dress) Breeders:
Norma J. Diaz and Anne H. Bowes. Owner: Karen S. Butterworth.
This is a quality bitch, very well shown and in nice condition.
Movement is adequate, but not as good as #1. An overall good
bitch, but also needs her topline to firm up.
