corgi rescue updates
If you've adopted a dog from our Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue
program, we welcome the updates and photos..

|
| Hailey
Hailey's new Dad, Bob, says "she's the best
little girl to come by in a long time. She's well behaved,
fully housetrained, and is very personable and a loving pet.
She is so incredibly mellow, that my stress leaves when she's
around. I am very grateful to have her. She will be a great
companion for years..."

Bandit
Bandit came into rescue weighing 65lbs! He is
a perfect example of what happens when you don't watch your
corgi's waist line. Here he is with his new people, Kristin
and Brian. Last report, Bandit weighed in at 35lbs. |
|
Chloe
Chloe came into rescue with a common story. Her
people were getting divorced; nobody had time for her. Since
she was purchased from a pet store, there was no responsible
breeder for her people to turn to. Instead she came to rescue
and found a wonderful new home.

|
 |
Dudley
Dudley was only a young
pup when he came into rescue. He was adopted by a wonderful
couple and was even "Best Dog" at their wedding!
|

|
Charli
Charli is a 4 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
She is one of several Cardigans that we have placed. Occasionally
we take in Cardis, too and are happy to find them homes!
|

|

 |
Norman
Norman is a 7 month old
Corgi mix that we placed last year. Sometimes we will rescue
mixes if they are very "Corgi-ish".
|

|
Molly
This special girl not only has a wonderful personality,
but she has two interesting coat characteristics. She is
a mismark, due to having too much white, AND she is also
a "bluey" due to the blue overcast to her coat.
Molly is now owned and loved by Karen and Kent Golden.
|

|
 |
Rex
Rex came into rescue at
the tender age of 11! He needed to be neutered and have
his shots. He was adopted by a woman in NYC where he still
lives at the age of 14 with a little female corgi and an
old English sheepdog.
|

|
Sparky
What's that there on Sparky's rear? Sparky was
born with a natural bobtail, but it is quite long. He came
into rescue when his owner passed away. His new family adores
him!
|

|
 |
Chester
Chester is a one-year old
hyper little guy that was surrendered to the ASPCA due to
his high energy and his high herding drive. He passed his
herding instinct test with flying colors while with rescue.
He was adopted by a woman who plans to herd sheep with him.
|

|
Molly
Molly was also just a youngster when she came
into rescue. She had too much energy and her people did
not have time for her. She found a new home with a nice
family to keep her busy.
|

|

 |
Cassy
Cassy's people also got
a divorce and couldn't keep her. She wasn't housebroken,
but quickly figured out while in rescue. This sweet girl
found a new home and family in New York.
|

|
Lucky
Lucky was a 7 year old corgi with diabetes. His
old owners did not keep his weight under control or watch
his insulin. His new owners are doing a great job with both.
He is one of the special needs corgis we sometimes get into
rescue.

|

 |
Merlin
Merlin was a stray picked
up by the ASPCA. He is about 4-5 years old and a wonderful
sweet boy. He has a new home in New Jersey.
|

|
Casey
This big boy was given up because his owners
were moving. He came from Ohio's rescue group originally
since they had too many dogs. He now lives with a little
corgi girl as part of his new family.
